Public Speaking Academy - Grades 7-12

Geared towards students entering 7th - 12th grade

In this course, students will begin to take their public speaking skills to the next level by preparing longer research-based speeches on a variety of topics. Emphasis will be on voice and speech techniques in a non-threatening and supportive environment. This course is a wonderful way for your student to gain confidence with speaking in public settings.

Reminders: 
  • Please bring snack and water daily. 
  • Please wear comfortable clothes and closed-toed shoes.
  • Please bring sweater/sweatshirt, classroom may get cold.

Class will be held in person at Irvine Valley College

Parking: There will be a reserved, FREE, 30 minutes drop-off and pick-up zone in parking lot #2.
