Math Academy - Grades 5 and 6

Geared toward students entering 5th - 6th grade

This course will focus on multiplying multi-digit numbers, factoring numbers, dividing multi-digit numbers, comparing fractions, and solving multi-step word problems. This class will help strengthen skills through repetition and reinforcement.  This course is a great way to help prepare for the next grade level!

Reminders: 
  • Please bring snack and water daily. 
  • Please wear comfortable clothes and closed-toed shoes.
  • Please bring sweater/sweatshirt, classroom may get cold.

Class will be held in person at Irvine Valley College

Parking: There will be a reserved, FREE, 30 minutes drop-off and pick-up zone in parking lot #2.
